On December 15th, 2006, it was held the third Bioingenud Simposium at Library "Biblioteca Virgilio Barco" in Bogota organized by IEEE* EMBS Student Branch of the "Universidad Distrital Francisco Jose de Caldas" with the important participation of Doctor James C. Lin, Professor of the University of Illinois (Chicago) and Doctor Jorge Reynolds Pombo, Colombian researcher of nanotechnology for pacemaker. The next slides shows some pictures of the event.
Professor James C. Lin, Distinguished Lecturer of IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society, member of IEEE Committee on Man and Radiation (COMAR) was given some lectures over the effects of electrical radiations on the human health.
